I have this tulip tree
Three inch long slender light pink blossoms that every evening...open up
Now here is the fun part
A tiny fairy in gossamer and lace
Hair in a bun, of course
stretches her arms and gently fans her wings for flight
suddenly a swallow lands
And he very politely
In his tuxedo
Bows his smooth head and she hops on
Together they soar
Diving and having a wonderful time in the heavens
Later he lands by his house and his mate
The fairy slips into the small house and fans the six eggs with a miracle
And quickly as she was there
She is gone
Off to visit other nests and proud parents
As dust falls she comes home to her tulip, crawls in
Sits on the stamen...smiles
And pulls her covers up for the evening
A crescent moon lights her room as she dreams of flight
